Lord, Gabriel came with words of favour
And called my troubled heart to peace
Here I am, Your willing servant
Let what You promise come to be

According to Your word, O Lord
We offer You our willing hearts
Lead us to serve in faithful love
Your will be done in us today

You name the Son I shall call Jesus
The promised Son of God Most High
You give to Him the throne of David
His kingdom shall endure for ever

According to Your word, O Lord
We offer You our willing hearts
Lead us to serve in faithful love
Your will be done in us today

Lord, teach us patience in our waiting
Give courage for the work of love
Let mercy shape the lives we share
And keep our eyes upon Your Son

Your Holy Spirit will come upon me
Your power will overshadow me
The Child shall be Your holy Son
I trust the word You speak to me

According to Your word, O Lord
We offer You our willing hearts
Lead us to serve in faithful love
Your will be done in us today

We offer You our willing hearts
Your will be done in us today
