Formation Resources

SHINE Formation Resources exists to help people know Christ deeply, share in His life and serve Him faithfully. We create books and resources for prayer, Christian formation and the shared life of the Church.

At the heart of our work is a vision of the Church as the Father’s household and a royal priesthood, called to worship, holiness and witness (Ephesians 2:19; 1 Peter 2:9). The Father welcomes us, Jesus Christ brings us into communion with God, and the Holy Spirit forms us in the likeness of the Son. We grow within a people who pray together, bear one another’s burdens and serve their neighbours with love.

Christian formation reaches into the whole of life: how we read Scripture, face hardship, nurture relationships and respond to the needs around us. Through prayer, worship, faithful obedience and communion at the Lord’s Table, we learn to receive God’s grace and offer our lives in His service.

Our work draws together four streams of Christian formation: Sacramental, Contemplative, Confessional and Spirit-empowered. The seven SHINE pillars give a shared language to this journey, helping readers connect what they believe with how they pray and live.

The five-volume Formation Series offers a sustained journey through Scripture, reflection and prayer. Alongside it, our wider titles welcome readers who are exploring faith and looking for a place to begin. These resources support personal reading, household discipleship, small groups and the ministry of local churches.

Our hope is to strengthen a faithful, joyful witness that can be handed to the next generation. Wherever you are beginning, we invite you to draw near to Christ, grow with His people and carry His love into the world.
