A REPEATABLE WEEKLY PRACTICE
Seven Days
of Formation
Bring the week you are living into the presence of God. Its responsibilities, unanswered questions and opportunities to love all belong here. These seven days help you turn towards the risen Christ, receive His Word and pray from the life He has opened to you.
Each day offers Scripture, a meditation, a full prayer and one response to carry into ordinary life. Through these practices we attend to Christ and answer His grace, asking the Holy Spirit to form His likeness in us. Return at a pace that lets you receive His Word and respond. The purpose is a life growing in His love, joined to His people and ready to make Him known.
This daily Christian prayer guide follows the Lord’s Prayer, giving words to praise, thanksgiving, lament, confession, intercession and resistance to evil. Pray for your own growth in Christ, or alongside your church or ministry team. Let the truth you speak before the Father deepen your love for His household and strengthen your witness to Jesus.
Using the week
Begin with Monday, or choose the current weekday. Each page introduces its own theme. Open the suggested starting passage and read slowly, noticing what it reveals about God. The other readings deepen that same theme and remain available whenever you want to return to them. Read the meditation, bring your own circumstances into prayer and choose one response to carry into daily life.
You can spread the material across the day and pause within the full prayer. The same seven resources remain available each week. Returning to them gives familiar words time to reach new places in our lives as we respond to the Holy Spirit.
Use the week personally, with a friend or within your local church. A small group can read one passage, pray together and return later to share how they responded. Keep the movement open towards others: receive Christ’s love, act upon it and speak of the hope He gives.
How the days belong together
The seven Pillars name aspects of our shared life in Christ. The Four Streams help us receive and live that life through the worship of the Church, loving attention to Christ, faithful confession and the Spirit’s presence and power. Each day gives one Pillar particular attention, while all four Streams remain part of the whole week.
The Lord’s Prayer gives us words to carry through these days. We begin with the Father’s welcome, honour His Name, seek His kingdom and ask for daily bread. We bring our relationships before Him in forgiveness, seek deliverance from evil and return to Him in thanksgiving for His kingdom, power and glory. Each daily prayer takes up a corresponding part of the prayer Jesus taught us.

THE WEEKLY MOVEMENT
We begin in the Father’s welcome, turn towards Christ’s glory and hold fast to His truth. The Spirit feeds and strengthens us; His wisdom shapes our relationships. Awe and joy find a voice, and the gathered Church gives thanks at the Lord’s Table before going out to serve and proclaim Him.
Four Streams through the week
One shared life in Christ
The Father is forming a people who bear His Son’s likeness together. These days belong within that shared life: Scripture received, prayer offered and grace carried into our relationships. Return to the week with the people and circumstances God has entrusted to you. Ask the Spirit to show where Christ’s love is taking root and where He is calling for a fresh response.
Baptismal water, anointing oil and the Lord’s Table keep this practice connected to the Church’s worship and service. We live from our belonging in Christ, seek the Spirit’s strength and gather in thanksgiving before going out to love our neighbours and proclaim Jesus. Bring what you receive into your local church, and carry its encouragement to someone who needs hope.
About these prayers
These meditations and prepared prayers were developed with AI drafting and editorial support under Steven Forsberg’s rigorous theological direction and final approval. Read slowly and make the words your own. Pause to name the people and circumstances you bring before the Father. Let the words lead into Scripture, prayer and the life you share with your church.
